Governor Sheriff Oborevwori has continued to strengthen the healthcare sector, not only through provision of modern equipment and infrastructure but also by improving remuneration to retain and motivate health workers across the state.
In a major step to make healthcare more affordable, the Delta State Government has set up a Price Control Committee and approved the reduction of dialysis treatment costs in state-owned hospitals from ₦70,000 to ₦45,000 per session, with DELSUTH Oghara taking the lead.
These reforms, in line with the Governor’s MORE Agenda, are designed to ease the financial burden on patients while ensuring that health workers remain committed to delivering quality service to Deltans.
